Mediation

Mediation is a very common alternative dispute resolution procedure that is required in many modern commercial contracts.

This means that if you have a dispute under a contract, or in a commercial relationship, you may not be permitted to take your claim directly to court - you may be required to go through mediation - which is a less formal, less structured, but more cost effective and timely way of attempting to resolve differences.

We can advise on disputes from when they first arise, through to assisting with preparation and representing you at mediations, and if necessary we can instruct a barrister for more complex cases.
